Our Team
Meet the Founder & CEO
Adriana Luttrell Vazquez
Founder & CEO
Hi, I’m Adriana, the owner of Aquatics 4U, LLC.
Swimming has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I spent over 10 years as a competitive swimmer and later worked as a lifeguard, swim instructor, and swim coach, which is really where I saw how important true water safety is for families. When I started Aquatics 4U in 2020, my goal went beyond teaching kids swim lessons. I wanted to create a place where they could feel comfortable in the water while still learning strong safety skills.
As the program has grown, my role has shifted more into running the business and supporting my team behind the scenes, but I still love popping in to watch lessons and see swimmers progress. Those little moments when something finally clicks for a child never get old.
One thing I noticed early on when starting this company is that swim lessons in the area often lean towards extremes. Some programs were not focused enough on safety, other programs were so strict that kids learned the skills but did not have a love for swimming. I’ve always believed there is a balance. Kids learn best when they’re consistently encouraged in a motivating environment while still building real, dependable skills.
Becoming a wife and now a mom (with another on the way) has made this even more personal to me. I understand how much trust parents place in us, and I genuinely care about helping kids not just learn to swim, but actually enjoy the water.
I am so proud of the team we have built and the stories families share with us. These include nervous swimmers gaining confidence, parents finding peace of mind, and kids who develop a love for the water.
We’re so excited to be part of your swimmer’s journey!
Meet Our Team of Instructors
Our team of instructors are consistently trained and prepared to handle any type of swim lesson we provide. Each instructor is First Aid certified, Aquatics 4U swim instructor certified, background checked, and water safety certified. However, while they are each well trained, we recognize that each instructor has unique personality traits that may mix well with certain swimmer personalities. Listed below are our wonderful instructors that help to serve this community.
Shayna Carlisle
Office Manager
Hello, I am Shayna! I am the Office Manager for Aquatics 4U. I have been part of the team since 2024.
I have always had a strong love for the water—whether it’s spending time at the beach, enjoying boat rides, or swimming in our pool. While I am not an instructor, I am a Florida native, so I understand the importance of swim safety given our close proximity to water.
In my role as Office Manager, I have the opportunity to connect with families, share information about our program, schedule lessons with our awesome instructors, and celebrate many accomplishments our swimmers achieve throughout the year. It is so rewarding to be part of a team that makes such a positive impact.
Outside of Aquatics 4U, I am very family-oriented and enjoy traveling and creating memories together. I have always been a country girl at heart and love activities such as riding four-wheelers, camping, and fishing. I also love that we have our own little backyard farm, we have cows, goats, and chickens, along with our dogs and cats, which keeps us pretty busy!
I enjoy being a part of the Aquatics 4U team and look forward to talking to you soon!
Miss Lexi
Swim Instructor
& Trainer
Hey there! My name is Alexis but everyone calls me Lexi. I am a student at HCC and plan to pursue Nursing as my career. I have worked with A4U since 2023 as a swim instructor, and now a swim instructor trainer.
Working with your kids is more than just a job for me it’s a passion. My favorite part about my job is seeing kids who were so nervous at the start of their lessons become more comfortable in the water. I
have learned patience is key when teaching, which has helped me work well with all different types of personalities.
My approach and method to teaching relies solely on the child. Each lesson I teach is tailored specifically to meet the child's personality, needs, and capabilities. I like to get to know my students and the things they enjoy to build a strong relationship with them, that is built on trust.
I am extremely excited to work with your child and helping them grow and excel in the water!
Miss Anika
Swim Instructor
& Evaluator
My name is Anika! I have been around water for my whole life. I was on a swim team for four years and I absolutely love the water and always love swimming. I have two older siblings, who are both swimmers, and a younger sister that also loves the water.
I am currently working towards a scholarship for volleyball as it is my dream to play on the big stages. I always love seeing every kids milestones as they grow into confident swimmers, because I know how hard they work!
I have been teaching lessons with Aquatics 4U since May of 2023! I always try to adapt to the kids personality to make a connection and a strong relationship with them, but I would say I work best with logical children who love to learn! I love working with toddlers and young children!
Miss Danayja
Swim Instructor
& Trainer
Hi! My name is Danayja, I am excited to be your instructor!
I have been with Aquatics 4U since August of 2024!
I was born and raised in New York and have been living in Florida for the past six years. As the oldest of six siblings, I’ve gained firsthand experience in patience, adaptability, and working with kids of all ages—and I absolutely love it!
I graduated from Riverview High School last year and I’m now going to cosmetology school to further my career in the beauty business.
When it comes to teaching swim lessons, my style is all about connection. I help children see that they’re bigger than the water they're in and that building confidence in themselves is just as important as learning to swim. I create a fun, safe space where I’m a supportive friend and a respected teacher, balancing joy with structure. Every child learns differently, and I pride myself on adapting to each one’s unique style to help them flourish in the water.
Mr. Zane
Swim Instructor
Hi, I’m Zane! I’ve been swimming competitively for most my life, with 5 years on a swim team. I have loved the water ever since!
When teaching I form strong bonds with my swimmers by getting to know their personalities. I challenge them to improve their skills while providing support and encouragement they need to reach their full potential.
Outside of the pool, I’m a junior at Bloomingdale High School, where I’m actively involved in their chorus program where I sing onstage solo or with a group. I also have 3 siblings, 2 younger and 1 older!
I’m excited to work with your swimmers this season and help them achieve their goals!
Miss Brianna
Swim Instructor
I’m Brianna, and I absolutely love working with kids. Watching them learn and grow is such a rewarding experience!
I have been an instructor with Aquatics 4U since 2024! When it comes to teaching, I focus on positivity, reassurance, and adaptability. Every child learns differently, so I take the time to understand their unique needs and learning style. Encouragement is key, and I believe that with the right support and a little push, every child can gain confidence and new skills—both in and out of the water!
I come from a big family with four siblings, so I’ve learned the value of both listening and teaching. I’m currently in high school working toward my AICE diploma and AS degree—I’ve always loved pushing myself to achieve more, and I believe hard work and consistency lead to growth.
Miss Caleigh
Swim Instructor
Hi, my name is Caleigh!
A little about me, I swam for five years on a swim team when I lived in Virginia. My older sister went D1 for swimming and won a division at nationals, and my dad set a record time in high school that has yet to be broken in his hometown! I have 4 siblings, all of whom have swam competitively, and my older brother is also a swim instructor. I love the water and being in or around it!
I am currently a senior in high school and do dual enrollment through Southeastern University. I will be attending Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, in the fall, and I plan to study Nutrition Science in hopes of becoming a Dietitian. I love to travel and hope to do a semester abroad in my sophomore year!
My teaching style is to have fun and enjoy the lesson, but understand the dangers of the water and why swimming is an important skill. I am a bubbly person who works well with outgoing kids, but can adapt to anyones personality. I love working with kids and seeing them progress and become strong, confident swimmers!
Miss Yada
Swim Instructor
Hi! My name is Yada, and I’m currently a graduated high schooler with a passion for sonography as I plan to attend HCC. I love creating encouraging environments where kids can learn at their own pace while still having fun. I’m patient, energetic, and caring, and one of my favorite parts of teaching is seeing swimmers become more comfortable and proud of themselves as they improve.
Outside of swim lessons, I love volleyball, spending time with friends and family, listening to music, and trying new things. I’m someone who works hard, enjoys helping others, and always tries to bring a positive attitude to everything I do. Building trust and making families feel comfortable is really important to me, and I always want lessons to feel supportive and enjoyable.
I plan to go to college and continue working toward a successful future while growing both personally and professionally. Teaching swim lessons has helped me become more responsible, patient, and confident, and I’m excited to keep learning and making a positive impact. My goal is for every child I teach to leave lessons feeling safer, happier, and more confident in the water.
Miss Ashlynne
Swim Instructor
Hi! My name is Ashlynne, and I can't wait to be your instructor!
A little bit about me, I am originally from Missouri and have been living in Florida over the past 4 years. As the oldest of two siblings, and one on the way, I have learned personally how to care for kids of all ages, and learn the personalities for each child that I work with.
I am going into Sophomore year in High School working toward getting my Associates Degree by the end of my senior year. Once I graduate, my dream is to further extend my education and go to cosmetology school and hopefully during that time I can obtain a Bachelors degree.
My teaching style is all about enjoying the water while knowing that it can be dangerous if one does not know how to swim. That is why I am here to help achieve your child's goals. The key to running a good lesson is to have fun, stay positive, and form a deep bond between any kid and me. My goal is to see each child progress and watch them become strong, self-assured swimmers!
